Another workshop for Polish engineers as part of the Technical Academy activities of the Association of Polish Engineers in Great Britain.

The trip to Dubai /Abu Dhabi will provide an insight into how buildings ''in the Middle of the desert'' have been constructed over 50 years. How man's grand visions are transforming the environment and providing challenges for engineers to design the world's tallest, the most modern  buildings. How to provide thermal comfort with air conditioning and ventilation at plus 48 degrees Celsius? Can Polish engineers make it in such a market? The lectures will be given by Arch Marcin Kowalski Project Director 15 years in the Emirates and Teresa Bilinska ( 15 years in the international market). Some more lecturers are under the discussion. Training on a yacht, visits to The Museum of the Future in the columnless structure, Burj Arab, Atlantis, the ski slope at the Mall of Emirates or Palm Jumeirah, A Breakfast at the Armani Hotel on the 122nd floor of Burj Khalifa, the Frame beam with the longest 95m structural beam in the world. 

The British and American Standards dominate in the international market so the UK is the trampoline to that market. Working on the  international engineering market is the contemporary necessity and only one direction for the development.
